The Minarets

The Minarets

The Minarets are a small, extremely craggy range of volcanic peaks near Mammoth Lakes, Califonia. These breathtaking sculptures of nature are found in the Ansel Adams Wildernesss, directly between Devil’s Postpile National Monument and Yosemite National Park. Most of the individual minarets are highly technical in nature for rock climbers and nearly all adorne names of the famous climbers who pioneered the first routes up these beautiful spires. Norman Clyde, Jules Eichorn and Glen Dawson are just a few to be immortalized here.
